About the walk

The garden is an absolute wonderland of cultivated landscapes and natural woodlands. Spend a morning or a whole day discovering the many gardens with beautiful sculptures. The duck pond is a nice peaceful place to take a short respite to watch the coy gently swimming and the plethora of turtles vying for tanning space on their mock island. Stroll through the different habitats of forests, meadows, ponds, and formal gardens.

History buffs will enjoy the Hanover House and the Hunt Family Cabin and geology enthusiasts may want to visit the Bob Campbell Geology Museum (usually open Wed-Sun, but currently listed as closed due to COVID-19) at the start point. The walk includes both paved surfaces and woodland trails. It is not a difficult walk but is not recommended for wheelchairs and/or strollers. The real difficulty will be the decision to leave; this is a wonderful place to take a walk. Dogs are not allowed on some of the new trails.
