Clemson Botanical Gardens

Sunday, June 3

Registration at 8:00 am, walk starts at 8:30 am
 Bob Campbell Geology Museum
140 Discovery Lane, Clemson, SC 29631.
Bring food for a picnic after the walk.

The Clemson Botanical Garden has over 295 acres of paths and trails. The garden is an absolute wonderland of cultivated landscapes and natural woodlands. Spend a morning or a whole day discovering the many gardens with beautiful sculptures. The duck pond is a nice peaceful place to take a short respite to watch the coy gently swimming and the plethora of turtles vying for tanning space on their mock island. Stroll through the different habitats of forests, meadows, ponds and formal gardens. History buffs will enjoy the Hanover House and the Hunt Family Cabin and geology enthusiasts may want to visit the Bob Campbell Geology Museum (open Wed-Sun) at the start point. The walk includes both paved surfaces and woodland trails. It is not a difficult walk but is not recommended for wheelchairs and/or strollers.
